(Bandar Seri Begawan, 13th) – During weekends and school holidays, the traffic volume at the Kuala Lurah-Miri border checkpoint increases noticeably, and long vehicle queues are a common sight. Especially at the Sungai 7 Ferry Point checkpoint, in recent days, vehicle queues often reach lengths of 2 to 3 kilometers, sometimes exceeding 3 kilometers during peak hours, causing severe congestion for vehicles crossing the border.

As a vital transport hub connecting Malaysia and Brunei, the Sungai 7 Ferry Point checkpoint is already busy with traffic. With the increase in holiday activities, the number of vehicles surges, further intensifying traffic pressure. Many drivers and cross-border travelers report that they often have to wait for several hours just to pass through customs.

Although the queues bring inconvenience to commuters, local residents and travelers have grown accustomed to the phenomenon, regarding it as a normal occurrence during holiday periods.
