Korean Grand Slam Best Actor Hwang Jung-min has recently been embroiled in online rumors of marital infidelity. His agency, SEM Company, issued a strong statement on the 29th, firmly denying the related false accusations.
The official statement points out that all of the leaked content circulating on social media platforms and online communities originated from a “stalking harassment crime suspect” who has been persistently harassing Hwang Jung-min. The agency revealed that the court had previously issued three restraining orders and other provisional measures against the suspect and formally fined them 3 million won (approximately 8,469 ringgit) for stalking and harassment charges. Regarding the audio files circulating online, which claim to be Hwang Jung-min’s voice, as well as chat screenshots from 2024, the company emphasized that both are maliciously edited and fabricated—possibly products of AI technology manipulation.
Hwang Jung-min and his wife Kim Mi-hye have maintained a loving relationship since their marriage in 2004, deeply rooted in the public’s perception.
