(Bandar Seri Begawan, 29th) To commend the Brunei delegation for achieving its best results to date in the "30th Friendship Nations Children’s Chinese Singing Elite Invitational Competition", Brunei’s renowned Star Entertainment Production Company hosted a celebratory banquet last night at a downtown restaurant, honoring the award-winning contestants, their parents, coaches, and the accompanying team as a sign of recognition and encouragement.
Star Entertainment Managing Director and Team Leader Chua Sin Chek, Chief Team Leader Chang Fucai, Deputy Team Leader Lee Yun Ying, committee member Lim Ming Ai, award-winning contestants Pang Yu Xuan, Liu Jia Yu, Xu Yan Han, Su Yun Qian, and Su Yun Qian, as well as the contestants' parents, gathered to jointly celebrate this glorious moment. The atmosphere was relaxed and joyful, filled with pride and festivity.
During the event, Team Leader Chua Sin Chek could hardly contain his excitement in his speech, describing the results as the most illustrious chapter in Star Entertainment’s history of participating in friendship nation events. He praised the contestants for the professionalism and expressiveness they displayed on stage, saying it brought honor to Brunei and showcased the strength and depth of local Chinese music education.
He said the appreciation banquet was a tribute to the children’s spirit of tireless practice, and also expressed gratitude for the long-term, selfless dedication and support from parents and coaches. During the event, Chua Sin Chek and Chang Fucai presented cash awards to each winning contestant and took group photos with the contestants and their parents, creating a warm and enthusiastic scene.
With the official launch of the 2026 training and competition plan, Star Entertainment has already begun deploying its new annual training program, hoping to continue boosting contestants’ confidence and skills through music, achieve further success on the international stage, and write a new chapter for Brunei’s children’s voices.
